important safety information
Read this before considering a compounded GLP-1 treatment.
individual evaluation comes first
Kayr’s site provides general information, not a diagnosis. A licensed clinician reviews your history and determines whether weight-care treatment, any specific formulation, and the method of consultation are appropriate. Completing an intake or paying for a consultation does not guarantee a prescription or particular result.
Tell the clinician about medical conditions, pregnancy or plans to become pregnant, current medicines, allergies, and prior reactions. Do not begin, stop, or change a prescription without your clinician’s advice.
compounded products are different
Kayr lists compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide formulations, including injections, tablets, and products described as microdosing. Compounded drugs are not FDA-approved; FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality before marketing. They should not be described as generic or interchangeable versions of FDA-approved medicines.
The safety and effectiveness of a particular compounded oral formulation or microdosing schedule cannot be assumed from trials of a different FDA-approved drug, dose, or route. The clinician and pharmacy must address the individual medical need and legal conditions for compounding.
known concerns and urgent symptoms
GLP-1 medicines can cause gastrointestinal effects, including nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and constipation. Serious problems can occur. Seek urgent care for severe or persistent abdominal pain, inability to keep fluids down, symptoms of dehydration, a severe allergic reaction, or other worrying symptoms. Discuss your personal risks and medication-specific warnings with your clinician.
If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to an emergency department. Do not use portal messages for emergency care.
injectable dosing and storage
FDA has reported serious dosing errors with compounded injectable GLP-1 products, including confusion between units, milliliters, and milligrams or unfamiliar syringes. Before injecting, confirm the exact dose, concentration, syringe markings, schedule, and technique with your dispensing pharmacy and clinician. Do not guess or copy another person’s instructions.
Follow the pharmacy label for storage, handling, missed doses, and disposal. Packaging, appearance, concentration, and instructions may vary by pharmacy. Actual medication ships in standard pharmacy packaging.
results and imagery
Treatment response varies. Kayr does not adopt another company’s patient outcomes, survey figures, testimonials, or average weight-loss claims. Product images are illustrative and may not show the dispensed preparation. Only a clinician can assess likely benefits and alternatives for you.
